NATA ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

We offer type approval standards testing under Vehicle Certification Agency and TÜV Rheinland. Please see the Quality section for specific approvals.

Industry Research- DTV/Shudder

Romteck PTM has become an authority on resolving cold judder brake problems associated with disc brake systems, and our state of the art DTV dynamometer technology that equips our laboratory has produces some outstanding work.  The following publications have been presented at the SAE International Brake Colloquium.

  • 2008-01-2543 is an introduction to cold judder testing in a laboratory.
  • 2009-01-3044 establishes that the affect of caliper design features and friction material formulation on cold judder may be evaluated on a dynamometer.
  • 2010-01-1690 is an OEM case study that evaluates two cold judder counter measures for a passenger vehicle brake system.
